It all started so well! The train left Glasgow on time, I was all packed and wandered up to the local station from my home. Usually a five minute walk, tonight, I took my time. I swaggered, even. It took me fifteen minutes. I still had plenty of time.
I sat in my seat on the train yesterday, looking out of the window. As the scenery raced by, my mind wandered. From time to time, I’d catch my own reflection in the glass, looking back blankly at me. Continue reading “The face in the glass”
